Sawitz, Frank 94, devoted husband of the late Ethel (nee Miller). He was a Veteran of World War II. Loving father of Michael (Joanna) Sawitz and Susan (Doug) Slack. Cherished grandpa to Jenifer (Eric) Christensen, Ivan Slack, Will (Gwen) Sawitz and Scott Sawitz. Great grandfather to Sarah, Caitlin and Megan Fahey. Brother of Lillian Korobkin. He will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations to Children's Memorial Hospital or Winchester House would be appreciated. Services will be held at Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Thursday, 10 a.m.
