McCormick, Frank B. age 79, of Oak Park, beloved husband of Lilli (nee Lehmann) and caring stepfather of Karen and Steven, passed away in Oak Park Hospital on June 4th. Frank grew up in the Chicago Saugenash neighborhood. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, serving in the Pacific on the submarine "S.S. Ranquil". He was a graduate of North Park College and was in the sound system business. He taught at DeVry Technical Institute. He was a member of the Windy City Harmonica Club and enjoyed sailing and swimming in the Gulf in Sarasota, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barry and Charlotte (nee Dittmann) and his sister, Patricia. Frank will always be remembered for his kind, wise and loving ways.
