Frank J. Koutnik Jr., age 73, US Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran of the North Side of Chicago, passed away on January 21, 2021. Beloved son of the late Frank J. Koutnik and Antoinette Holzworth (née LeClaire). Survived by his loving brothers John (Teresa) Koutnik of Glenview, Jeffrey (Denise) of Schaumburg and Rev. Jerome of Huntley, Illinois; nephews and nieces Jeffrey, Patrick, Ryan, Kelly, James and Samatha. Frank was a graduate of Northern Illinois University and retired after a longtime career in both education and construction. He was an avid golfer and esteemed member of his beloved bowling team "The Blasters". A celebration of Frank's life will be held from 12-3pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Chuck's Lakeshore Inn, 352 Lake Street, Fontana, WI 53125 Services will be held from 12:30-1pm; Fr. Jerome Koutnik will preside. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois

I'm so very sad to hear my dear friend of 40 years has passed. Frank was a great friend to me. I will miss his sense of humor, and his calls to check in and catch up. My condolences to his family who was everything to him. We will always have his stories.
