Helen Koutnik Obituary

Dearest Aunt Helen, I think of you from time to time. You were such a beautiful woman, so strong and devoted to God and your family. I loved watching you, so elegant and sweet. So many memories of our families together at holidays and just a Sunday afternoon for dinner and for us kids to play.

I was so sad to hear of Helen´s passing, I didn´t know
Helen well but the short times I spent with her, she
was so kind and generous, she was your friend.
It was my pleasure to have met Helen, I will keep
her in my prayers as well as Father Koutnik.

Blowing kisses to Heaven for my beautiful Angel Aunt Helen. You were such a wonderful family friend and my Godmother,
I picked for Confirmation. I know you are now reunited with your family. Husband and Son’s now in Heaven together with our Lord Jesus. I will always remember your beautyinside and out!

I knew Helen from SS Peter and Paul in Cary when Fr. Jerome was assigned there as his first Parish. Helen would drive all the way from Niles to attend every Sunday Mass. She was admired by many for saying yes to the Lord of the giving of her Son. My heart goes out to the Koutnik family, we also had the passing of my oldest brother the same day. May they both be embraced by the Lord. Eternal Rest grant unto them and may the perpetual light shine upon them. Jesus I Trust in You.

If it were not for Helen and Frank Koutnik we would not have a GREAT priest in Father Jerome Koutnik who has been an inspiration in our lives spiritually.

Helen so graciously cared for her fellow St. Helen parishioners as well as her family and friends. She served the liturgies as sacristan and ensured our church space was welcoming. Hospitality, whether at home or at church, was always foremost. I'm sorry for your loss, as well as learning of John's and Jimmy's losses. May they, as well as Jim, welcome Helen as she enjoys the heavenly rewards for her labors along with her beloved Frank. May they all rest in God's peace. My condolences to Fr. Jerome, Jeffrey, Theresa and the rest of the family.

Dear Fr. Koutnik and all the Koutnik family, please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. May the knowledge that she is with the Lord whom she loved so much and by whose love she was able to love and touch so very many in her life bring you much joy and peace. All our love and prayers at this time of sorrow for all of her family and friends. Know that there is much joy and rejoicing in heaven now that God's loving and faithful servant is home.
