Gioia, Frank H. age 96, resident of Elmhurst since 1951, current resident of Lexington Square of Elmhurst, former Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus, Fr. McDonald Council, #1911, Faith Navigator of the 4th Degree Knights, founding member of Tom Dooley General Assembly, which grew from 13-19 active councils during Frank's service; owner and founder of Unified Tool and Die where he worked until 1992, former usher and Holy Name Society President at Immaculate Conception Parish and former usher at Visitation Parish. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Ragnini), loving father of Norman (Rosemary) and Linda (John) Wallace, proud grandfather of William (Donna) and Daniel Gioia, Shannon Wallace and Suzanne (Sean) George, cherished great-grandfather of Andrew Simon and Timothy William Gioia. Visitation Sunday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral, 8:45 a.m., at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road (1/2 mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 a.m., at Visitation Catholic Church. Entombment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's International, 200 East Red Bridge Road, PO Box 219055, Kansas City, MO 64121.
