Dear Colton Family, Dec. 6, 2003
Frank was my mentor, colleague, and closest friend throughout our careers at G.D. Searle. He was an inspiration to everyone he worked with and came to know. He brought luster to our company and our profession through his intellect and high ethical standards. We all share your grief with his passing.

Frank was a value investor, both in the market and in people. He was a great friend and mentor, and I still remember his "stories" which I often recall with great appreciation for his humor and insight. We will miss you.

We were so sad to hear of Frank's death. He was a real friend to me when I first started at Searle and helped me in so many ways. Frank was a gentleman and a fine scientist. The chemistry world has lost a great contributor.
