Although she is gone, she is not forgotten; and she will always be loved.

My fondest memories of Auntie Frances are of the bingo parties she and her sisters (and nieces and grandchildren) would put on every month. The Gaber sisters were strong-willed, intelligent, and a lot of fun to be with. When I first started dating my husband, all of them were still playing bingo, even Auntie Helen. I soon discovered who the favorite aunt was for the Pogwizd brothers - Auntie Frances! The reason why: "She's feisty!" Steve would always say. She was - she would tell you exactly what was on her mind and in a way that would always make you laugh. For all of the heartbreak she experienced, she never lost her sense of humor or her love of life.
Auntie was so very proud of her family; her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. It is an amazing family and I am in awe of the care she received at the end of her life - especially from Joey, Paul & Roni, and Bob & Sandy. Thank you for everything you did.
I am so sorry not to be there for the visitation and funeral, and I hope you understand that it is my own role as caregiver that is keeping me away. I will be thinking of you all - especially that wonderful woman who was sister, mother, auntie, and grandmother to so many people.
