Frances Kromer Obituary
Frances E. Kromer, 97, died Oct. 18, 2010 in Country Meadows. A1934 graduate of Easton HS and Abington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1934 she worked as an industrial nurse at General Aniline and Film Corp. in Easton and served as a staff nurse at Easton Hospital before retiring. She was a devoted member of First United Church of Christ, Easton where she was a Sunday school teacher, deacon, and elder. She was a member of Kings Daughters Society of America; the Ambassador Club, Palmer and Meals on Wheels volunteer. Survivors: Cousins; her siblings, Mayme Heller, Edith Fitzgerald, Mabel, Leslie and Martin Kromer died earlier. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Ashton Funeral Home, 14 and Northampton Streets, Easton. Interment: Hays Cemetery, Easton. Contributions: To First UCC, 27 N. 3 St., Easton, PA.
