Frances Fenendael Obituary

Fenendael, Frances Kipp

Frances Kipp Fenendael, age 95, formerly of Luxemburg, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Bornemann's Nursing Home in Green Bay.

Frances was born May 25, 1917, in Slovan, WI, to Joseph and Fanny Ouradnik Kipp. She graduated from Casco High School in 1935. On June 25, 1938, she married Clifford J. Fenendael. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1968. With their family they farmed the area north of Luxemburg which is now the Northbrook Golf Course. After the farm was sold, she worked at Guardian Angel Nursing Home for several years. Frances loved socializing with her family and many friends, and was well-known for her lively sense of humor. She was a dedicated letter-writer and rarely missed sending a birthday card. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music and dancing. Both at home and at work, she often sang while she went about her chores.

She is survived by a son, Lee Fenendael (Diane) of Ripon; daughter-in-law, Karen Fenendael of Suring; daughters, Christine Fenendael (Mark Kupper) of Prairie du Chien, and Carolyn Fenendael of Luxemburg; grandchildren, Tricia Fischer (Phil) of Suring, Kim Hawpetoss (Matt) of Pulaski, Greg Fenendael (Laura) of Pulaski, Jodi Wanish (Dale) of Suring, Jason (Jenny) Fenendael of Suring, Debra Tendick (Mike) of Menasha, Kathy Steffen (Dean) of Yucca Valley, CA, Cooper Ledvina of Madison, and Spencer Ledvina of Luxemburg; great grandchildren, Bailey and Evan Fenendael, Grant, Preston and Grace Fischer, Aaron and Sean Hawpetoss, Parker Wanish, Jacob, Elsa, and Gabriel Steffen, and Emrianna and Daxon Tendick; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Frances Fenendael was also preceded in death by an infant son Robert; son, Clifford G. Fenendael; five brothers and sisters; and many special relatives and longtime friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Bornemann's Nursing Home for their kindness and caring.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5930 Humboldt Rd., Luxemburg, from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. Aunt Fran was a very special lady with a great sense of humor and an extremely warm heart. My parents visited her often and always enjoyed their time time together. We have a lot of warm memories with Aunt Fran and she will be missed by all that were blessed to have known her.
