WISSEKERKE Floris J., 85, of Saddle Brook, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Floris served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. Before retiring in 1990 Floris was Chief of Police for the Saddle Brook Police Department in Saddle Brook, NJ. He was a member of the Saddle Brook formerly Saddle River Vol. Fire Department, Saddle Brook VFW Post 3484, Tin Can Sailors, NJ PBA Local 102, and the Bergen County Chiefs Association. Dear husband of the late Theresa (nee Bollinger) (2000). Beloved father of John F. Wissekerke and his wife Bobbi of Cedar Knolls and Robert J. Wissekerke and his wife Maura of Cudjoe Key, FL. Loving grandfather of Melody L. Wissekerke, Amy E. Wissekerke and Kathryn A. Johnson. Loving great-grand-father of Sylvie Semmelhack. Beloved brother of Oliva Casama. Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 AM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S-113 Farview Ave. Paramus. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
