Westermeyer, Florence M. Douglas In Memory of Mother On Sunday, September 16, 2001, Our precious mother, age 95, went to be with the Lord, her Big Heart and Gentle ways will be missed by many. Mother was born Florence M. Russo on November 19, 1905, in Ishpeming, Michigan and bought home by her Italian immigrant parents, John and Anna Russo. One of sixteen children, she was a mother in the true sense of the word. She worked hard to raise her children when losing her husband Alfred Douglas at a young age of 48 in 1954. She helped to care for her own mother and father when they became ill late in their years. Mother is survived by her daughters, Shirley and Lorraine, her sons, Alfred, Robert, James, her son-in-law Robert, her daughter-in-laws, Josie, Bunny and Rose, grandchildren, Dawn, Anna, Robert Jr. II, Joseph, Frankie, Alfred Jr. II and Val, Michael and Pam, John and Shauna, great- grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Amanda, Robert Jr. III, Cassie, Joseph Jr., Milessa and Dorothy, her sister Lena and brother Leonard. Our mother was a loving wife, mother and a committed servant to prayers to God. She made a difference with everyone she touched. Mother it is Our greatest gift to have had you with for as long as we did. You will live in all of us forever and we Love you with all our hearts and most of all, we know you love us. We will miss you Love, your family, The Douglas's and the Russo's Visitation will be Friday, 3 to 9 p.m., only at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester (2 blks.
