Tomlinson, Florence (nee Kaczmarek) Born July 13, 1916 Chicago, IL, at rest August 18, 2010, age 94, married just shy of 60 years to the late Edgar E. Tomlinson Sr. Florence lived on Wrightwood Ave. in Chicago for 59 years before moving into the Manor Care Home, Northbrook, IL, 2003. Preceded in death by her parents Anton and Julia Kaczmarek, brother Henry Kaczmarek, and sister Eleanor Starling, and her daughter Cynthia Tomlinson. Survived by her brother Raymond Kaczmarek, and sister Lorrie (Roger) Daniels. Children: Edgar Jr. (Patricia), Cheryl (Gary) Benson, Cathy (Paul) Sherwood, Dennis, Michael Raul, Debra Bartels, Ronald (Dawn). Florence has 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Florence was blessed with a healthy and happy life. Florence enjoyed a lifetime of learning and even graduated from college in her fifties. Florence enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, genealogy, walking, cooking, art, sewing, photography, and travel. Visitation August 21, 2010 and August 22, 2010, 4 to 9 p.m. at Pietryka Funeral Home, 5734-40 W. Diversey Ave. Chicago,IL. (773-889-0115). Mass will be offered at St. Stanislaus B & M Church, 5352 W. Belden, Chicago, IL (773-237-5800) on August 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Florence is with the Angels but remain in the hearts of all who loved her forever.
