Florence Kladis Obituary
Florence "Kitty" Kladis, nee Kammers, age 95, our beloved mother passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 14, 2022. Kitty was the monarch and strength to her family and extended families. Cherished mother of Christine (George) Kujanski, JoAnn (Bill) Bedillion, Barbara McWilliams and the late Dana Lee Kladis. Beloved grandmother of Jon (Carmen) and Adam (Monica) Kujanski; and Lauren and Ryan Bedillion. Dearest great-grandmother of Kaley, Gavin and Zoe Kujanski. She will be spending Christmas with her Dana Lee this year. A private family visitation will be held at Colonial Chapel. Burial private at Orland Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Orland Township Food Pantry, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park, IL 60462 or PAWS of Tinley Park, 8301 W. 191st St., Tinley Park, IL 60487 are appreciated. Dear Chris, Jojo, Barbara, George, Bill, Jon, Adam, Carmen, Monica, Lauren, Ryan, Kaley, Gavin, and Zoe,
I condole with all of you at the passing of dear, sweet Mama Kitty. She took care of me as a newborn and child. She is so often in my thoughts and always will be. As a child, I felt deeply loved, safe, acknowledged, and cared for when she watched over me.
From the way I mother my three children, to volunteering at one of our local pet shelters, what she taught me about how to love and about how the quality of time we spend with others counts for so much in the lives of those around us have profoundly influenced the way that I live my life.
I am so grateful for the time that I had with Mama Kitty. She and Dana are loved dearly by me and always will be. I share my memories of them with my children and husband. It brings me some comfort to know that Dana will have Mama Kitty with her for now. I pray for them both.
