Dear Allan,
Sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. I remember her at West Suburban Temple, as a kind and smart lady, always pitching in wherever needed. She was also an alumna and supporter of Roosevelt University, as I am. I hope you are able to find comfort in a lifetime of wonderful memories.
Sincerely, Judee Aronow Levinson

Evelyn Ruth Cohen Cohen and her family send their sincere condolences to you at this sad time. Evelyn went to Emmet School and Austin High School with Florence and remembers her very well. Florence graduated from Austin, Class of 1935-1/2 while Evelyn graduated Class of 1936. Evelyn was a close friend of Telsa Perlman Dorfman, who was a friend of Florence, too. Evelyn recalls Florence as a very bright individual and the 1936 Maroon & White yearbook from Austin High School summed her up as "Intellectual, Charming smile", and said her nickname was "Florry" and her ambition was to "Start at top and go upper". May your happy memories of this fine woman sustain you at this difficult time.
