Fanny McDaniel Obituary

Mooresville

Mrs. Fanny Troutman McDaniel, 94, died Friday at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.

Born in Iredell County on July 19, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Henry Connelly Troutman and Lola Ingram Troutman. She was a homemaker and a member of Troutman Baptist Church where she formerly taught the Mothers Class. She was an avid gardner and reader and loved her animals. In her younger years, she worked at Trivette Clinic and cared for the sick and for children in her community.

On January 23, 1940, she married Mr. Russell F. McDaniel who preceded her in death on November 30, 1982. She was also preceded in death by brothers: Leonard, Maynard and James Troutman and sister, Betty Collins.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances McDaniel, nephew, Steve Collins and his wife Nancy, and nieces: Peggy Inscoe, Ann Tareen, Vonnie Troutman and Linda Beaver.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. David Troutman, Rev. Tommy Beaver and Dr. J. B. Parker, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Steve and Rusty Collins, Ted Troutman, Neil Gilleland, Jerry Fortner and Sam Plott.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.
