Evelyn Miller Obituary

Miller, Evelyn Dolores Evelyn Dolores Miller, of Irving, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2008. She was born October 31, 1929 in San Antonio. Dolores was raised in Granger and Taylor, attended Southwestern University, and lived the last 44 years in Irving. Dolores was a very active member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Irving. Preceded in death by her parents John and Frances Velicka and husband Otis Miller, whom she married in 1949, survivors include her four boys Mike and wife Liz, Mark and wife Cindy, Patrick, and Timothy. She was the proud Nanny of seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 202 S. MacArthur Blvd. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas at 2:30 PM. A Rosary was held at 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Luke's Catholic School.
