Evelyn Dakajos Obituary
Dakajos, Evelyn G. (nee Paras), beloved wife of the late Christ J. Dakajos, loving mother of Stephanie (Daniel) Aucunas and John J. (Debbie) Dakajos, cherished grandmother of Christin, Matthew, Brandon, Jessica, Alana, Victoria, and Nicholas, devoted daughter of the late James and Lula Paras, dear sister of Elsie (Nick) Pann, Helen (Sam) Canelakes, and Mary (Doug) Baldwin, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was an avid world traveler and golfer. Visitation Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Family and friends will meet Wednesday morning at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church, 733 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago, IL. 60607 for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Elmwood Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Basil Church or to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, 1900 Springfield Rd., Suite #310, Oak brook, IL. 60523 would be appreciated.
