Mom, thinking of you tonight and though I know you are in a better place and at peace, I miss hearing your voice and caressing you. You were a strong and loving mom and I am so blessed that I had you as not only my mom but as my mentor. Your love continues to live through us and those who come into and through our lives. For 2 years I took care of Eva and within those two years I grew to love her and her family. Like the saying goes God brings people into your life for a reason and a season and Im glad that I got the chance to know Eva. To the family of Eva you all are in my thoughts and prayers Eva will truely be missed.

MOTHER'S LEAVING
Mom's eighty seven,
death has to come
Yet sadness I know will
But in her space I will remain.
When eyes begin to fill
I'll show her only happiness
And not the pain inside
By going deep within to where
Fond memories reside.
And when I can't contain my tears
The place that I will go
Is out into my garden where
They'll make her flowers grow.
