Dear Kathleen, I am very sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. You do not know me, but my Dad , Nunzio Lobene, from Rochester, N.Y. and Cape Vincent , N.Y, knew your Mom and family. Ironically, he was here in Northbrook with me, and just passed away last month, ( Tribune, Obit-April 8th and 9th).

He spoke about your Mom and thought her daughter lived near us, I so regret not "finding" you sooner. I beleive he also knew your grandparents from the old "neigborhood".

I feel your "pain" , as my Dad was our idol and loved his golf and Florida, as it sounds your Mom did.

Please take comfort in knowing she is with God., everyone tells me that, at times it helps.

Take care, Barbara Lobene Vela

Dear Kathy, Vinnie, Ann, Judd and families,

We are all thinking of you during this difficult time. So sorry that we can't be with you to celebrate your mom's life. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Your mom was a kind, caring, wonderful person. We will always have fond memories of her. She will be greatly missed. I know, we now have another guardian angel to watch over us.

All our love,

Frannie, Dick, Jackson and Uncle Charlie
