Eugene Visockis Obituary

Visockis, Eugene J. age 76, late of Elwood, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at his home. He is survived by one son Mark Visockis of Morris, three daughters; Cheryl Visockis of Roselle, Rochelle (Mark) Rodrigues of Plainfield and Cassandra (Jim) Dellamano of Elwood, three grandchildren; Shana, Mark and Mitchell. One niece Lauren Komaniecki of Chicago also survives. Preceded in death by his parents Bruno and Pauline Bednarkiewicz Visockis, wife of 46 years Marcia Pacholski Visockis, one sister and brother-in-law Charlotte and Chester Komaniecki. Eugene served as a police officer with the Cook County Sherriff for 26 years. He grew up in Chicago and served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 30, at St. Joseph Church, 235 W. North Street, Manhattan.
