Eugene Trezzo Obituary
Eugene A. Trezzo of Westmont, former longtime resident of Berkeley, age 81, passed away March 19, 2020. Beloved husband for 60 years of Adrienne, nee Breslan; loving father of Gina (John) Athans, Joe (Lori) Trezzo and Chrissy (Joe) Dougherty; proud Grandpa of Kristopher and Kyle (Ali) Athans, Nicole (Matt) Gillette, Ashley (Zac) Volland, Britney and Danielle Trezzo and Brennan, Jaclyn and Brooke Dougherty; great-grandpa of Everett and Harvey Athans, Ryann Gillette and Carmella and Dominic Volland; preceded in death by his siblings Conrad (late Frankey) Trezzo and Anna (late Ettore) Buffardi; fond uncle of many. Eugene was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a member of the Cement Masons Local 502 for 41 years. He was known for his smile, and his devotion to his family, always being present at any sporting event or performance a child or grandchild was involved in. Eugene was loved by all who knew him, he is greatly missed but will always be remembered. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Tuesday June 22, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All to meet on Wednesday for a 10:30 a.m. Memorial Mass, at Holy Trinity Church, 111 S. Cass Ave., Westmont, IL. Eugene was interred in a private family service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at the time of his passing. Info: 708-F-U-N-E-R-A-L.

My sincere condolences on the loss of Gene. From my view, he was a great husband, father, and grandfather. I will always think of him fondly as we spent many moments in the bleachers together rooting on family during their softball youth. Rest in peace.

What a beautiful man. Uncle Gene always wore a smile. Throughout my life I have never witnessed a greater love than he and his devoted wife shared. It was a love story like no other. He will be so dearly missed. I count myself very lucky to have been a small part of his big life.
