Eugene A. "Gino" Tavares, 63, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, longtime dear companion of Joyce A. Morock, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2000. Visiting hours are scheduled for Thursday, August 24, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, August 25, 10 a.m., at International Church of the Nazarene, 284 Pleasant Street, New Bedford.
