Gene gene the dancing machine. Everyone in Wisconsin who knew you Eugene loved you and still talk about your sunny contagious personality . When we get together with friends who visited us or stayed with us; there isn't a time when we don't ever recall a funny situation. Like the time you thought Cody ate the hamburger meat from the table and I was hiding in the basement only to hear your sad voice sayin " Oh Girls I have bad news for you the meat is gone and has been eaten by Cody again." We laughed about this all night. We miss those great fun times. Love, Sis Welch Bairstow (your cousin) everyone on the guest book has known Gene from Wisconsin?

It's seems an appropriate day, St. Patrick's Day, to remember Gene, Gene, although I have thought of him everday since he left us. There are no words to express the void in our lives....I just expect him to be popping up at my kitchen window at 7:00am for coffee...or sitting across from me at the kitchen counter talking as I'm cooking. Many, many fun memories in the 20+ years Gene, Gene came to Wisconsin. I'm sure your dancing a jig up there this St. Paddy's Day, and I can almost here that laugh.
You will always be in our hearts!

Eugene was a person who you would remember from the first time you met him. He was unique. And he had a laugh that was contiguous. He enjoyed life to the fullest like nobody I have ever known. Everyone had a good time around him dancing, singing or just eating. He loved food and anyone who cooked for him was a friend forever. He never asked for help himself but was always willing to help in any way he could. He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved him.

Jim and I are deeply sad. Everyone who knew Eugene knows that he was a unique individual. He had a smile and a laugh that lit up any room he entered, and he was one of the nicest men ever. And BuffaloFest in Montello without "Gene Gene the Dancing Machine" just won't be the same.
