Eugene Kulma Obituary
Eugene Casimer Kulma, age 88, of Lemont, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. He was born at home in Chicago, IL (Brighton Park neigborhood) on May 30, 1934, the son of the late Maria Kulma (Suder) and the late Jozef Kulma. Gene was a proud family man, fire fighter, and American of Polish descent. He and his wife LOVED to travel, instilling that love into their children at an early age; eventually getting to all 48 of the lower states before their children headed off to college. That love of travel continued unabated, with Gene and Diane visiting over 45 countries, and all 7 continents over the years. Gene is survived by that loving wife of 57 years Diane, children Nadine and Michael, son-in-law Ed, daughter-in-law Luella, grandchildren Sydney and Samuel; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brothers Chester, George, Steve, Ted, and Joseph. A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, 11:00am at SS Cyril and Methodius Church, 608 Sobieski Street, Lemont, Illinois, 60439. Info: 630-257-6363 or www.markiewiczfh.com
