Klich, Eugene C. 58, of Edison Park, U.S. Army Veteran and retired 32 year C.P.D. Area 5 Detective. Beloved husband of Karen (nee Werdell), loving father and friend of Mark (Sheila), Dennis (Sheri) Klich and Amy McQuillen, proud grandfather of Toby Shaw, dear son of Chester and Rita Klich, fond brother of Robert (Roberta) Klich and Chester Klich, brother-in-law of Cathy (Louis) Wilson, uncle of Becky (Dave) Dezonno, Jeremy and Jonathan Wilson. Gene's passion for his family and the love of his friends was the center of his world. His unique sense of humor will be the laughter in our hearts. Visitation Friday, from 2 until 9 p.m., at The M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Funeral Saturday, 11 a.m. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Police Chaplains Ministry, Father Thomas Nangle, Chaplain, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL, 60607-2906, appreciated.
