I was very sad to hear of Gene's passing. I have wonderful memories of growing up in Columbia Heights next door to Gene and Reggie. The most vivid memory I have is of riding in Gene's green and white truck and having him close his eyes at red lights and wait for me to tell him when to go... Best wishes to all his family and friends.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm happy to know that he is in good place and not suffering. I do miss you guys and have many fond memories of going out field training the dogs with him and the green truck.
Love always,

Reggie,
Although we know Gene is no longer suffering he will be missed. I love you Reggie, my heart and prayers are with you and the girls and their families. I feel so blessed to have known you both. My family and I will treasure the memories of having you as neighbors and being able to visit with you and Gene, much thanks always for the advice, endless encouragement, lessons on raising dogs, kids, gardening and yardwork. Gene touched so many lives in so many ways and will not be forgotten. Much love to you always, Beth, Katie, Kriisten, Sarah and Andrew Mika
