Soft-spoken, gentle-natured, kind to others. A man that never raised his voice in anger or frustration at a bunch of teenage boys clamboring around him. Fr. Dwyer was a effective teacher, a respected and successful coach in tennis and bowling, and a cool-headed counselor. Those of us from the dreaded '60's who were fortunated enough to have worked with or under him are all too aware of what this loss means. It's another decent man gone. May his reward for his endeavours be great.

May Fr. Dwyer rest in peace. Fr. Dwyer was omni-present during my years at Loyola Academy. He was also head of the bowling team. Very pleasant, devoted man.
