Eugene "Mose" O'Leary Cloward 1918 ~ 2005 MORONI- Eugene "Mose" O'Leary Cloward, 86, passed away at home on February 13, 2005. Born March 14, 1918 in Moroni, UT to Hyrum Welles and Sophie N. O'Leary Cloward. Married for 63 years to Anna E. Hansen, married May 31, 1941 in Nephi, later solemnized in the Manti Temple on June 3, 1959. A member of the LDS Church, High Priest, 21/2 yr. mission at Moroni Cannery. An avid outdoors man, he loved fishing, hunting, hiking, camping and cooking Dutch-oven stews. Eugene spent most of his life farming, raising turkeys and sheep. He worked for Moroni City, Moroni Jr. High and Moroni Processing Plant. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren camping and telling them stories. He will greatly be missed by all. Survived by his wife, Ann Cloward, Moroni, UT; children, LeGrand (Valerie) Cloward, West Valley; Welles (Gail) Cloward, Spring City; Dixie Green, West Jordan, UT; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Grace (Leland) Ostler, Nephi, UT; Marcel Jackson, Nephi, UT; Jewel (Paul) Bailey, Moroni, UT; Perry (Diane) Bruno, Salt Lake City, UT. Preceded in death by parents, step father, four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be Wed. Feb. 16, 2005 at the Moroni LDS Stake Center at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call Wed. from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Moroni City Cemetery.
