Errol grew up with our family in Oak Lawn. He took vacations with us and was close to my father and worked for him at Starlite Drive-In. He visited us years ago when we lived in Winnetka and my sister Poppy saw him at Skokie Court house where she worked and they enjoyed talking about the old days. This was a few years ago and had not seen him since. He was such a good person and loved police work from the time he was in High School. We feel so bad and a part of us is gone now.
Still thinking of you, Errol. When I was young growing up in Oak Lawn you were like an older brother. Our family just adored you! In later years I wish we could have seen you more!

To the Family of Errol,
I met him in 1995 and he became a close friend and confident. I looked up to Errol and had all the respect in the world for him. Errol was a cop's cop-who earned his way up thru the dept. and refused to play politics or favorites. He was respected by all and I will miss him a lot. My condolences on your loss.
