To the McEldowney family I was a pca on 7south I worked with Erin as well on the night shift i cared for Erin so much she is a great person and will be miss very much. But as you know God has her now and has always had her in his arms so don't worry she's in a great place. Erin keeped me relaxed sometime she was my message therapist. She will be missed.

I can remember talking to her about our big Irish families. She was so proud of where she came from. She will truly be missed. My thought n prayers are with you all.

Erin was one of the first friends. I had always felt like an outsider because I lived on the other side of Western, but Erin had always included me when I could cross the busy street. I remember when she and Emily tried to teach me to rollerblade. It did not turn out well, but they both tried so hard to teach me. Erin you will be greatly missed.

From babysitting our kids to coaching our Bridget through a few wonderful softball seasons at Kennedy Park, she was always a big help and positive influence on us all. Erin even took Bridget horseback riding long after she wasn't babysitting anymore because she remembered Bridget's love of horses. Her kindness and generosity will always be remembered. This all feels like a dream. I, too, am one of the many nurses who worked on 7 South with Erin that loved working with her. She was such a great role model for us new nurses and was always watching out for us making sure we were comfortable and ok. She was always going out of her way help all of us before taking care of herself. She was so kind-hearted and had such an up-lifting spirit; it was hard to be around her and not be smiling. I am deeply saddened by this tragic loss. I can only continue to pray for the McEldowney family and find comfort in knowing that Erin is now in a place where she will experience eternal peace and love.
