I am deeply saddened- my condolences to the entire Olsen family. I went to High School, grammer school and grew up on the same block as Eric. I remember him as the "goof ball of the block", always joked around- he had a great sense of humor. He was a great friend, always treated me w/ respect. He will be truely missed. Even tho I haven't seen him in over 10 yrs this news really hurt me. Take care & God Bless, I will keep the Olsen family in prayer for many years to come, Love, Christina (Ramirez) Martinez & Family

Dear Olsen Family,
My heart goes out to the whole family. I met Erik back in High School. He was one of a kind. He was always looking out for me, He reminded me of a big brother. He was always there to listen. Again I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep Erik and family in my prayers.

I've known Erik for the past several years and I am deeply saddened by his passing. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and know he will be missed.
I worked with him a few years ago and it was a pleasure. Although he usually acted in a comical manner, I had the opportunity to talk to him during a rare moment and saw the sensitive side of this man; his concern for friends he felt were unhappy and his frustration when he was unable to help them. In that same moment, I saw him bounce back into his usual smiling face and energetic personna when he realized there was a room full of people that he needed to "jam with" so they could continue a great night out with their fun-loving D.J.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to know him and deeply saddened by his passing.
