Eneas McDonnell Obituary

McDonnell Jr., Eneas "Bud" passed peacefully on September 21, 2006, at the age of 82. Bud was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and of DePaul University College of Law. A former Navy Officer (USS San Francisco). Bud went on to become an accomplished corporate and securities lawyer well recognized throughtout Chicago and Suburbs. Bud's very dear wife, Lynn McDonnell, predeceased him in 1995. Bud and Lynn are fondly remembered by five children, Patrick (Linda), Michael (Patty), Kenneth (Sheila), Laura (Toby) Chakeen and Sean (Jennifer) and by 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Bud is survived by his sister, Florence Stritch and his brother, Larry McDonnell. Visitation Monday, 9 a.m. til time of funeral Mass 10 a.m., at Divine Infant Church, 1601 Newcastle Ave., Westchester, IL, 60154. Family and friends will meet at Church, interment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dowagiac, MI. Arrangements by: Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home, 630-323-0275.
