Emylee Bittermann Obituary
Bittermann, Emylee Renata 20, beloved daughter of Steve and Rhona (nee Lev), adored sister of Charles, cherished granddaughter of Ga Neomah Lev Chroman, dearest niece of Gary (Paula) Lev, Donald (Martha) Bittermann and Martha Bittermann. Emylee is loved and will be missed by many cousins and friends. Service Friday, 2 p.m., at Anshe Emet Synagogue, 3751 N. Broadway, Chicago. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anshe Emet Synagoge, The Raising Spirits Fdn, 5115 Belmont-Ste B, Downers Grove, IL 60515 or KidPower, 901 W. Jackson, Chicago, IL 60607. Mar will always be remembered in our hearts wearing a smile and her chicken hat at Camp Thunderbird.
She touched my childrens lives and for that I am eternally greatful. Her memory lives on daily at the Shapiro household. 6 summers ago my then 8 year old came home and had to go downtown to buy a chicken hat like Mar had. It happens to be the most fought over item in the house. It will now be the most treasured!
