Emma Temple Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

Emma Lee Bazzell Temple, age 75, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away Monday, March 22, 2004 surrounded by her children. Emma was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach. Emma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Emma was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Love Temple. She is survived by children Ben Temple and wife Kathy of Conyers, Georgia and Luci Nation and husband Doug of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Her grandchildren, who loved her dearly, are Amy Harper and husband Hal of Covington, Georgia, Chip Temple and wife Kelly of Stockbridge, Georgia, Michael Nation and wife Tonia of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and James Nation of Jacksonville, Florida, and great-grandchild, Charlotte Jordan of Covington, Georgia. Emma is also survived by brother, Charles Bazzell and wife Barbara of Montgomery, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews. Emma was a secretary at Dekalb County Georgia Traffic Engineering before retiring. She moved to Fort Walton Beach in 1997 after the passing of her husband. Her family meant everything to her, and she meant the world to us, we will all miss her greatly. The family wishes to express their most heart felt thanks to Dr. Gilbert Vigo and the incredibly skilled and compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff of the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for their special care of our loving mother. There will be a private celebration of Emma's life at a later date. National Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements. A donation may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association.

Even though this lady was my mom, she was the sweetest most loving person anyone would ever want to know. She loved her family greatly and gave us so much!
