I live across the street from Emma. She used to always come out and talk when I was gardening. She said she liked to sit in her window in the morning, have her coffee and look at my flowers. The last time I talked to her, she said she was looking forward to seeing my garden. I'm sure she's in heaven enjoying it. She kind of adopted me after I moved in here. Any time I was up on a ladder doing something, she'd watch out her window. I knew if I fell, she'd be there to call 911. It was a very comforting feeling knowing someone was watching out for you. She also kept an eye on my house when I was out of town. She had hoped to live long enough to see her grandson get married. Even if she didn't, I'm sure she'll be there at the wedding in spirit. She was a wonderful person and I really miss her.
