Emilio Hernandez Obituary
Hernandez, Jr., Emilio 53, of Hoffman Estates. Loving husband of Marcelita Garcia Hernandez (nee Salazar), loving father of Eric, Daniel, Brandon, Leilani and Michael, dear brother of Stella Hernandez and Lorraine Steinkamp, dear son of Elsa (nee Chiarella) and the late Emilio Hernandez, Sr. Mr. Hernandez was a 20 year Veteran of the Air force, a scout master of BSA Troop # 497 and a dedicated life member and quartermaster of VFW Post #2202. Visitation Friday from 2 to 9 PM at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Ltd. 330 W. Golf Rd. Schaumburg. Funeral procession starting at 10:15 AM Saturday at the funeral home to Bethel Baptist Church, 200 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Service at 11 AM. Interment Private. Funeral info 847-882-5580.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I met Emilio during Woodbadge for Boy Scouts. I was my honor and a privilege, getting to know him.
I will always have many fond memories of him and the kind heart he shared with us all. He will be missed. May you find peace in the knowledge that his spirit and warmth touched so many us. God bless and keep you and your family close to his heart.
