Gerchenson, Emile H. age 91, late of Miami Beach, formerly of Highland Park. Beloved husband of the late Bernice, loving father of Jeffery (Jodie) and the late Michael Steven Gerchenson, cherished grandfather of Shelbi, Micah (Becca), Kate and Jaclyn Gerchenson, adored uncle of Lauren Karper-Berz, great uncle of Danny Berz, dear brother-in-law of Donald (Roberta) Karper, beloved brother of the late Lester Gerchenson, devoted son of the late Henry and Elizabeth. Service Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Magen David Adom (Chicago Chapter), 8930 N. Gross Point Rd., Skokie, IL 60077, or to Council for the Jewish Elderly, 3003 W. Touhy, Chicago, IL 60645 For further information, 847-256-5700.
