Eloise Whiteley Obituary
June 4, 1949 - May 17, 2009
Eloise Whiteley of Orland went to our heavenly Father on May 17, 2009. She loved her family, friends and outdoor activities.
She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Orland and the Orland community.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Gary Whiteley; daughters, Connie Whiteley and Kristy (Delmer) Brantley; son, Jeremiah (Anna Marie) Whiteley; her father, Neil Thompson; sisters, Pat (Gary) Bartlett, Robin (Harry) Taylor; brother, Delmar (Linda) Thompson and six grand-children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Feather River Hospital Cancer Center, 5629 Canyon View Dr., Suite B, Paradise, CA 95969 or First Baptist Church of Orland, P.O. Box 578, Orland, CA 95963.
Services will be Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Orland, 903 1st Street on the corner of 1st and Mill Street.
Arrangements by Neptune Society 345-7200.

Dear Mr. Whiteley and family,
Even though I only knew Eloise for a short period of time, I loved having her here! She was an inspiration to all the members who watched her struggle with the machines but kept at it anyway!
Our condolences to you and your family for your great loss but take solace in knowing that God is taking care of her now.

It isn't often that you get to meet an angel, but I knew the first time I ever met Eloise that I had . She bighten every room she entered. I feel very priviliged that I knew her and was able to call her my friend. I will remember her lovely smile forever. You are in my prayers

We are so sorry for our family's loss, Eloise will be greatly missed. One thing that we so loved about her was she always had the warmest hugs to give out, her love of life and her family members was amazing--we all lost a dear friend. We love you Elosie and you will always be in our hearts!
