Rosenfeld, Ellis Myron Noah age 78, beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Ellis), devoted son of the late Florence (nee Feldman) and Jacob Rosenfeld, loving father of Dr. Joyce (Jill DeBender) Rosenfeld, Diane (William Fisher) Rosenfeld, David (Sheryl) Rosenfeld and Jack Rosenfeld, cherished grandfather of Aaron, Joseph, Maris, Jacob, Samuel, Michael, Ruth and Sarah, dear brother of Evelyn Silverstein and the late Alberta Ginsberg. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Illinois Fire Safety Alliance, P.O. Box 911, Mount Prospect, IL, 60056. Service Friday, 9 a.m., at The Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. For info: 847-256-5700

Phyllis & family - we were saddened to read about the passing of Ellis. Although our families have not had contact for quite some time, we want to express our sympathies and condolences to all of you during this very hard time. We hope you are all holding up okay - we will never forget the families and all of the children on the wonderful block of Leamington.

I am so saddenned by the loss of Mr. Rosenfeld. He touched my life the many times he was a patient at Glenbrook hospital. My heart goes out to his family, especially his wife. I know that his sudden passing is a shock to all who know and love him.
I will miss him immeasurably!!
