Marks, Ellen beloved wife of David; loving mother of Jason (Danielle) Mann, Brianna (fiance Donovan Meade) Mann, Jessica Marks (Don) Carroll and Gavin (fiancee Shelly) Marks; cherished grandmama of Wyatt and Grayson Mann; dear sister of Marilyn DiCarlo. Ellen was a woman of great grace and strength, loved by so many. Chapel Service 10 am Monday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Visitation Sunday 3 pm to 7 pm at funeral home. Interment Randhill Park Cemetery. For Info: 847-255-3520.

Dear David I was so sorry to hear Ellen had passed. It seemed like only yesterday she was telling me about that wonderful trip you took to Peru and how thrilling it was. It was at Karyn and Jerrys house that I last saw her and wished her a good health recovery. Our thoughts are with you and your lovely family...God Bless.. David & Carol Dahl

I haven't called as I knew you needed some space right now. I am so sorry. Ellen was a beautiful, wonderful, and kind person. You described it perfectly in the obit. It's amazing what both of us have endured in our lifetimes. I know G-D gives us what we can handle. Sometimes I wonder... I will always be here for you and always be your friend.
