Elizabeth Baude Obituary

Baude, Elizabeth (Betty) J. (nee Newby), was welcomed in God's Kingdom July 2, 2007, at the age of 80. Betty selflessly dedicated her life to raising four children, Jeffrey (Mary) Baude of Watseka, Debra (Dan) Bredel of Midlothian, VA, David (Leslie) Baude of Oak Forest and Diane (Douglas) Moore of Oak Forest. Everyone who knew her enjoyed her ready smile and lively sense of humor. She was a proud grandmother of Danny, Tony (Heather) and Brook Bredel, Matt (Christina) Baude, Josh and Jeff Baude, Dean Moore, an aunt and great-aunt to many. Betty was an avid tennis fan, enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Survived by one sister, Doris Crooks of Indianapolis, preceded in death by her parents, George and Cherry Newby; brother, George Newby and sisters, Isabelle Beal and Cherry Martin. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Watseka Illinois Public Library or Diabetes Research preferred. Funeral Friday, July 6th, 10 a.m., at the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest. Interment Beverly. Visitation Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. 708-687-2990.
