Elisabeth Safron Obituary

Safron, Elisabeth Barbara "Lisa", age 43, of Keeler Twp, Michigan (Dowagiac, MI area). Lisa's life began on December 7, 1962 in Chicago; the daughter of Frank and Katie (Hermanutz) Koos. She grew up in Chicago and worked as a bank teller there for several years. Lisa moved to Michigan in 1988 to be close to her family. She loved doing word searches and playing cards and especially enjoyed spending time with her nephews. Her loving family includes her sister Linda and her husband Richard Hutchinson and her nephews Adam (Jessica) Hutchinson and Richie Hutchinson, all of Keeler. Lisa passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2006 in Lawrence, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Katie Koos and a sister Karen Koos. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16th, from 5 to 8 p.m., at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home (405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI 49047), where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. (MI Time). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 17th, at 11 am., at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church (29961 Priest St., Dowagiac, MI 49047), led by Father Leo Taubitz. Lisa will be laid to rest next to her parents in Sacred Heart Cemetery following the Mass. Memorial contributions in Lisa's name may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
