Eleonore McCarthy Obituary

Dear Jeff and Family- We just learned of Eleonore's Passing this week, and wanted to send our heartfelt condolences. She was a wonderful lady; loved and respected. Jim and His family grew up right across the alley from your family, and your mom sold me my very first car ! The beloved '74 Camaro. Sadly, we have just learned also of Brian's passing as well, and are so very, very sorry to hear of it. Jim spent many, many hours talking cars-and everything else-with Brian and was deeply saddened to hear of it. May they both Rest in Peace.

Eleonore was my Aunt. I haven't seen her in many, many years. I am saddened by her passing. I have so many great memories of the times spent with the family. They would come to the house and play cards and the boys would hang out with all of us kids. If someone in the family reads this please contact on of the Rausa kids. Either Mary Swift in (KY) or Lauretta Rybicki in (IL).

I am so sorry for your loss. Eleonore was such a sweet soul. Always a lady, she was always willing to help and do it with a smile. I've no doubt the family will miss her greatly. (I knew her at Teletype.)

Eleanor was an inspiration to all of us in the Teletype Pioneers. She always said hello to everyone at the door of our all our Pioneer Christmas Luncheons every year. We will miss her greatly.

So sorry to hear about Eleonore's passing. She was one of the nicest people to work with, first at Skokie and later with the Pioneers.
My condolences to her family.

What a special lady. She was the heart and soul of the Teletype Pioneers and was the glue that held us all together. She will be missed by all who knew her.
