ELEANORE BEESLEY

Eleanore Beesley was called to eternal life peacefully on August 19, 2003 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Beesley was 77, of 33 Mockingbird Lane, North Fond du Lac. She was born on May 23, 1926 in Ashland, WI the daughter of John and Valeria Janowski Sobotka. On January 29, 1949 she married Robert J. Beesley in Ashland and moved to Fond du Lac in 1952.

Mrs. Beesley was a homemaker and also worked for Jaeger Sign and for the Town and Country Club. She was a 50-year member of the Eagles Auxiliary 270 holding many positions including Madame State President and was inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame. As Madame State President she was instrumental in bringing the Make a Wish Foundation to Fond du Lac. She has been a longtime member of Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting and knitting for various charities as well as traveling with friends.

SURVIVORS: six children, Jeffrey (Jeanette) Beesley of North Fond du Lac, Julie Ann (George) Klobucher of Ashland, Valerie (Victor) Baumgartner of St. Cloud, Robert (Debbie) Beesley of Iron River, WI, Terry Beesley (special friend Ursula) of North Fond du Lac, Mary Jo (Michael) Dowland of North Fond du Lac, thirteen grandchildren, Jody Beesley and Jenny Oosterhouse, Kelly Klobucher, Melanie and Laura Baumgartner, Chad, Kimberly, and Dillon Beesley, Joseph, Thomas, and Heather Beesley, Mara Springborn, Ryan Dowland, three great-grandchildren, Quentin Beesley, Jordan and Aiyanna Klobucher, sisters in law, Jean Sobotka and Dolly Sobotka both of Ashland, Margaret Ann Sturgal of Eau Claire, Thelma Beesley of Butternut, WI, one half sister Helen Dawson of Ashland, brother in law, Tom (Donna) Beesley of Green Bay, special friends Faith and Fritz Kovach, Ginny Plonsky, and Sadonia Lassig. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, John, Stanley, Harry, and Dominic, sisters in law, Delores, Erma, Virginia Mansavage, and Milly Smith.

VISITATION: Saturday, August 23, 2003 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 4:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
