Although our paths had not crossed for quite some time we feel that the days were only yesterday. My father had many wonderful memories to share with me (once again!) when hearing of Birdie's death. As a child we never seem to appreciate the stories. As an adult we never forget. May all those stories live eternally for all of us.

As so many of us were with Birdie in the hospital in September, I remarked to her that for someone who had no children, she certainly had a lot of kids. She will be greatly missed, she has lived a full and wonderful life. We are looking forward to celebrating that life on Friday.
