Eleanor Beidler Obituary

Beidler, Eleanor Chapman 94, resident of Lake Forest for 62 years, died June 23, 2004, at Lake Forest Hospital. She served as President of the Lake Forest League of Women Voters and was active in the McCormick YWCA of Chicago, the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff YWCA and the Coterie. She belonged to the Colonial Dames and was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest. Wife of the late Francis Beidler, II (1984). Mother of Elinor Siklossy, Francis (Prudence) Beidler III and Elizabeth Tisdahl, grandmother of Leif (Julie), Leon, Lyrna and Laurenne Siklossy, Francis IV, Prudence and Jacob Beidler and Katherine (Patrick Hughes), Douglas and Mark Tisdahl, great-grandmother of Riley and Patrick Hughes, sister of Virginia Hopkins and Carolyn Wells. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the League of Women Voters of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff, 400 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest, IL, 60045 or to Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA, 19010. A Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, 700 N. Sheridan Rd., Lake Forest. No Visitation. Interment Private.
