Bandera, Eleanor M. (nee Scarborough), age 94, beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of Marie (Robert) Cyborski, Denis, Richard (Geraldine), Charles, Edward, Margaret, William (Joyce), Paul (Lucille) and the late Joseph Bandera, devoted grandmother of 21 and cherished great-grandmother of 30, dear sister of Alice Gardner, preceded in death by her brother Rev. Berard Scarborough and sister Mildred Cullitan. Member 3rd Order of St. Francis and Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society. Visitation Thursday 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago to Sacred Heart Church, Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers masses preferred. 773-731-2749.

My heart felt condolences to all of the family. My daughter Bridget is married to Ed's son Demain. I had the privelege of meeting Grandma Bandera once and she reminds me of my own mother with her deep faith and great love of family.

HEAVEN has gained so much, and this world and all who loved Aunt El will greatly miss her. Aunt El worked for the good of Our Lord and her work will continue even now. She has been a Blessing to every soul she touched. Our love and prayers are with you all. Forrest and Judy Edwards Family, neice of Aunt El.
