Eileen A. Nee, 94, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2022. Cherished sister of Dudley (Mary Margaret) and the late John (Jean), Michael (Virginia) and Mary. Beloved daughter of the late Dudley and Mary Anne. Dear aunt to Jack, Nancy, Jim, Marianne, Rich, Margaret, Michael, Mary, Rita, Timothy, James and the late Laurence. She will be missed by many friends, great-nieces and nephews and family near and far in Ireland. Eileen was a life-long resident of Chicago and a long-time parishioner at Queen of All Saints Basilica. She was proud of her long employment with the Chicago Sun-Times. She cared deeply about her family and her faith. Her family loved her positivity and considered her an angel on earth. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10th from 3-7pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646. Funeral Wednesday, May 11th at 9am from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home to Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646, for a funeral Mass at 10am. Interment All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
