We have such fond memories of your Mom and Dad--both from the days of my youth when I lived on Virginia Avenue and from listening to our own beloved mother, Gertrude Dick Abrams Highton, of blessed memory, talk about her wonderful cousin Edythe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.

My husband and I do magic shows at the nursing home where Edythe lived. She was always one of our favorite people. Each time we visited, she would great me with a smile, a hug and a kiss and made sure I gave her hugs and kisses when I left. When my husband performed his magic, she always wanted to be right in front and was so enthusiastic. She was always cheerful and full of life. We shall miss her dearly. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time of loss. I feel fortunated to have gotten to know her.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am about Aunt Edythe. Although I hadn't seen her in many years I have very fond memories of her and the times I spent with her and the rest of your family. I especially remember being at her house Thanksgiving, 1964, 2 days before my daughter Barbra was born. That really stands out in my mind. My sympathy to all of the Barhrmasel and Bernstein family. Love, Fran
