Dear Millie and Betty,

This is your old next door neighbor on 65th Street. I was Janice Blaha then, living with my parents, Art and Sally Blaha. I was so sorry to read about your loss. Ed was a wonderful man with a pleasant personality and a winning smile. I remember, Betty, when you received your engagement ring on Diamond, and how your mom and dad made that darling dog a real member of the family. I hope you will be comforted by the fact that you had this wonderful man in your lives for so many years.

Your friend,

Janice (Blaha) Palmer
